Hello there!
I’m Anna-Nicole.

I’m the baker, blogger, and photographer behind Anna-Nicole Bakes. Let’s be friends and make some gorgeous desserts together. But first, let me introduce myself.

I love kindness, smiles, and a dash of vanilla extract in life.

I started Anna-Nicole Bakes during my first year of law school. I was already an avid (self-taught) baker. Back then, my kitchen served as a much-needed escape from the pile of legal reading I had every night. I had this budding desire to document my baking adventures. So, one day I picked up one of my creations and a DSLR camera, and I never looked back.

I’m now a Miami-based lawyer. When I’m not in the courthouse or behind my desk, I’m experimenting in the kitchen. Anna-Nicole Bakes continues to be my creative outlet and a way to share my own recipes with the world. Thank you for stopping by my sweet little corner of the internet.

Some quick takes.

  • Law is my day job. I’m either at my office or at the courthouse during the week.

On the weekends, I’m most at peace when I’m roaming the galleries of an art museum. Art is still an important (ahem, essential) part of my life.

Otherwise, I’m at home snuggled in bed with good book. I’ve been a massive bookworm ever since I was a kid.

  • I’m a self-taught baker, recipe developer, and photographer. I grew up on boxed cake mixes and Food Network. It was not until my senior year of college that I started baking from scratch. I began developing my own recipes during law school. I started this blog to document my recipes. But then life got busy, which led to me taking an extended hiatus from blogging until the beginning of 2024. Now I’m back and am happy to be blogging again.

  • Anna-Nicole Bakes is a culmination of my love for food, photography, and creativity. This is a personal blog that is meant to be my creative space where I share my own recipes and my own thoughts about life and food.
